Suncrown Wrap-Around Case Packer is an efficient and flexible solution for secondary packaging of bottles, cans, or cartons into corrugated cardboard cases. Unlike traditional drop packers, this system wraps the case blank around the product group, forming and sealing the case in a single smooth process. It ensures better product protection, saves storage space, and enhances pallet stability. Ideal for high-speed beverage and food production lines, the machine supports multiple pack formats and integrates easily with upstream and downstream equipment.
This machine uses a mesh belt conveyor to arrange products neatly into six, five, or four rows, depending on the packaging format. Cardboard sheets are stacked on one side, and a mechanical arm system pulls the sheet forward while rollers push it into position. When both the product and the sheet reach the positioning point, a pusher mechanism swings side to side to gently place the products onto the sheet.
Under the sheet, a set of cylinders with suction cups pulls the sheet and products downward to form the case. Once formed, a chain drive moves the case forward for the next step. As the case advances, glue is sprayed and the flaps are bonded. The case is then pushed onto the output conveyor and sent to the palletizing station.
For canned products, a swing-arm mechanism assists with infeed; for plastic bottles, an automatic bottle divider is used to assist product entry.
