Automatic Depalletizer

The Suncrown fully automatic depalletizer is designed for efficient layer-by-layer unloading of empty bottles in industries such as bottled water, beverages, and dairy products.

Controlled by an intelligent program, the equipment ensures precise positioning, smooth gripping, and high-efficiency unloading of entire layers of empty bottles from stacked pallets. It supports seamless integration with unscramblers and conveyor systems, significantly enhancing automation and production efficiency while reducing manual labor and operational intensity.

Structural Features

1. The main frame is welded from high-quality carbon steel tubing and finished with electrostatic powder coating and baking paint, giving it an attractive appearance and excellent corrosion resistance. The inner liner plate is made of 3mm-thick SUS304 stainless steel.

2. The pallet conveying section is constructed from 160×80mm high-strength carbon steel tubing, ensuring structural stability. It is standard-equipped to hold up to 3 pallets, with a load capacity of up to 3.2 tons. The conveying motor is controlled via frequency inverter, and the transmission system utilizes high-strength double-row roller chains (12A, GB/T1243-1997) with guide rails underneath. Side guards made from quality steel help align the pallet stack for accurate entry positioning.

3.The pallet lifting section features dual-direction clamping plates to correct deformation of the pallet stack, preventing can dislodgement or damage during lifting. The lifting motor is also frequency-controlled and equipped with automatic locking in the event of a power outage, ensuring operator safety and product integrity. The lifting mechanism uses a dual-track cantilever structure, offering excellent stability, high load capacity, and optimal space utilization. Transmission employs 16A high-strength roller chains (GB/T1243-1997) for smooth operation, and photoelectric sensors are mounted at the top for precise lift height detection and positioning.

4.The de-palletizing action is performed by a hug-type clamping structure, which secures the outer dimensions of the entire can layer. A self-braking motor with frequency control drives a timing belt conveyor, ensuring that cans move freely in a linear direction without squeezing, deformation, tipping, or jamming.

5.The bottle-conveying belt side plates are made of 3mm carbon steel, finished with powder coating and baking. The belt itself is made of imported POM (polyoxymethylene) material, offering smooth operation, high wear resistance, and a wear rate only 60% of comparable products. Transition plates are made of SUS304 stainless steel, cut using laser technology to ensure smooth edges.

6.The machine is equipped with an automatic cardboard pick-up mechanism, utilizing 10 specially designed accordion-style suction cups that ensure strong and reliable grip on interlayer pads. This design allows for excellent adaptability, accommodating cardboard with a certain degree of curvature. The pick-up mechanism operates in coordination with the hug-type depalletizing unit. During the return stroke of the depalletizing arm, the cardboard is simultaneously picked up and transferred to the designated placement platform, significantly reducing depalletizing cycle time and improving overall machine efficiency.

7.The machine includes an automatic empty pallet collection system. The lifting motor is controlled via frequency inverter for smooth and precise operation. The support beams for pallet lifting are driven by pneumatic cylinders, allowing them to automatically open and close, ensuring neat and orderly pallet stacking. The system can hold up to 10 pallets at once.

8.An automated top-down cardboard transfer system is integrated into the design. It transports used interlayer pads from the upper section of the equipment down to a ground-level conveying and storage unit, enabling automatic collection, alignment, and transport of the cardboard pads for reuse or disposal.
